Brandy is a two year old, 20lbs, terrier mix with lots of energy and even more love. She was found in a parking lot as a puppy by her previous human who brought her home to join his dog pack. She lived happily with three other dogs until their human passed away. While her pack was split up, she still lives with one of her sisters and a foster brother. She adores all people and while she loves kids, she may knock a smaller child over in excitement. She would be an excellent running buddy or hiking partner but she also loves being a couch potato and snuggle bug. She loves cuddles, sitting in your lap, a good game of fetch, tug, chew toys, and playing in water. She is also very dog-friendly and learns to temper her play over time depending on the dog. Her go-to play style is rough-housing but she can also play more gently when a dog gives her signs they don’t want to rough-house. She has not been formally cat tested but lunges and whines when we see cats on walks. She loves attention and will often butt the other dogs out of the way to get pets. She would be happy as an only dog getting all the love or in a house with other dogs to play with. She is very clever and food motivated. She is house broken and has mastered sit but is still working on her jumping, mouthing, loose leash walking, down, and other commands. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She’s ready to find her forever home and make her new family laugh every day with her goofy antics!
