Hilary Woodworth
Director
Hilary is the founder and driving force behind Charming Pet Rescue. What began in her family’s home in March 2015 has grown into a thriving rescue that has saved thousands of lives—all fueled by Hilary’s compassion, determination, and vision. Her leadership has transformed a small operation into a community cornerstone for animal welfare.
At home, Hilary and her wife, Heather, share their lives with their two wonderful children, ages 13 and 15, along with a joyful pack of beloved pets. For Hilary, rescue work isn’t just something she does—it’s who she is. Her heart and dedication continue to guide Charming Pet Rescue every step of the way.

Jennifer Davis
Assistant Director: Adoptions
Jen has been part of Charming Pet Rescue for eight years, beginning as a dedicated yard worker and growing into her current role as Assistant Director, where she oversees dog adoptions, manages the yard team, and coordinates supplies for the rescue.
Jen’s passion for matching dogs with the right families shines through in everything she does. Her thoughtful approach ensures that every adoption is a great fit—for both the dog and their new family—which has led to the rescue’s impressively low return rate.
At home, Jen’s heart is just as full. She’s a proud mom to three amazing kids and a pack of beloved senior dogs who’ve all found their happily ever after with her.

Kristin Smith
Assistant Director: Development
Kristin joined Charming Pet Rescue in 2019, first as a volunteer and later as the Foster Coordinator, before stepping into her current role as Assistant Director of Development. Today, she leads the rescue’s marketing and fundraising efforts, helping to tell the stories that connect people and pets — and keep the mission of Charming thriving.
A lifelong animal lover, Kristin has always dreamed of working with animals, and she feels lucky to do what she loves every day surrounded by such a dedicated team.
At home, Kristin and her husband, Andy, share life’s adventures with their two wonderful kids, five dogs (most of whom were former fosters who never left!), and one very charismatic bearded dragon.
