1. Fill out an application: Apply to Adopt a Dog OR Apply to Adopt a Cat

  2. We will review and reply to your application with questions or an approval within 72 hours. Please be patient. You may contact us via email after 72 hours if you haven't heard back:

  3. After approval, your contact information will be sent to the pet's foster OR to an adoption representative at the rescue if the animal is not in a foster home. They will contact you within 48 hours with more information and to arrange to meet the pet. If you're out of state, we can send videos or do a video call to meet the pet.

  4. To finalize adoption after the above steps, go to the pet's profile on our site and click Pay Adoption Fee. If you're out of state, make sure you choose Transport from the dropdown at checkout. Complete the checkout process, and for non-local adoptions, we will be in touch within a week with your pet's transport details. (Please note: We only transport dogs out of state, not cats.) Read about the Transport process.
