As delicate and sweet as her name suggests, Monarch is a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land. This 7-month-old, 15-pound Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer mix is quiet, shy, and incredibly submissive.
She’s one of the 10 dogs we took in after their owner went into the hospital, and while she’s still adjusting to all the changes, she’s already showing her kind and loving nature. Monarch is fantastic with other dogs, rides wonderfully in the car, and has a calm, peaceful presence that makes her easy to fall in love with.
